The photography of Pierson High School students was on display at the Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum last month as part of an “Our Town: Sag Harbor in Focus” juried exhibit.

The showcase celebrated the Village of Sag Harbor and life on Eastern Long Island as seen through the eyes of area youth. The exhibit featured images in 10 categories, including portraiture, family, architecture and landscapes.

The exhibit opening was marked by an awards ceremony on May 12. A finalist in each category was named by judge and local photojournalist Michael Heller.
