Wallace F. Moyer Jr. of Sag Harbor died at his home on March 21. He was 89.
Born on January 23, 1925, in Mineola, he was the son of Wallace and Anna May Moyer. He attended Oceanside High School, graduated from Cobleskill College and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. A self-employed builder, he owned W.F. Moyer & Son Builders, and was a member of the Salamander Fire Department in Oceanside.
Mr. Moyer is survived by his wife, Isabel K. (Riordan) Moyer; three children, Monica Moyer Morris of Friendship, Wallace F. Moyer III and Thomas W. Moyer, both of Sag Harbor; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother, Robert Moyer of Oceanside. He was predeceased by two children, Mary-Therese Moyer Bennett and Michael J. Moyer; and a brother, Donald Moyer.
Visitation was at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor on March 27. A funeral was held the same day at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Farmingville.
