The cost to purchase a condominium at developer Jay Bialsky’s 2 West Water Street, a three-unit condo project on 0.75-acre in Sag Harbor that will reserve one unit for Mr. Bialsky’s personal residence, has been revealed: either $21.95 million or $19.95 million.

The condos, on the site where the 1-800-LAWYERS building once stood, will be the tallest buildings in Sag Harbor, adjacent to the new 1.25-acre John Steinbeck Waterfront Park on land that Mr. Bialsky sold to the Southampton Town Community Preservation Fund for $10.5 million.

Mr. Bialsky worked with project architect Andre Kikoski and landscape architect Edward Hollander on 2 West Water Street. Each condo will offer two boat slips, underground garage space for four to six cars, jewel-box glass rooms with western-facing bay views and a brick facade. The brick was chosen to reflect Sag Harbor’s industrial past.

The three buildings combined are slightly under 22,000 square feet.

PSEG Reminds Customers To Call 811 Before Digging

As National Safe Digging Month begins, PSEG Long Island reminds customers, contractors and excavators that the law requires them to call 811 before digging to ensure underground pipelines, conduits, wires and cables are properly marked out. Striking an underground electrical line can cause serious injury and outages, resulting in repair costs and fines, PSEG stated in an announcement this week. Every digging project, even a small project like planting a tree or building a deck, requires a call to 811. The call is free and the mark-out service is free.
