Joseph John Brennan of Sag Harbor died on Saturday, January 17, at his home following a long illness. He was 62.
Mr. Brennan worked as a Town of East Hampton waste treatment plant superintendent and was the husband of East Hampton Town Clerk Carole Brennan. He was also an honorary member of the Sag Harbor Fire Department and the Sag Harbor Ambulance, having served there for 20 years.
Mr. Brennan is survived by his wife, Carole; a daughter, Rachael M. Lucyk and husband Ed Lucyk of Sag Harbor; a son, Matthew J. Brennan of Springs; a brother, Thomas M. Brennan of Wainscott; and four grandchildren, Patrick and Chloe Lucyk, and Madison and Mariann Brennan.
Services were held this week at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home and St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Sag Harbor.
