On Thursday, February 2, local author Deb Capone visited with Alanna Leszczynski’s sixth-graders as they studied “author’s purpose” in Sherryl Bruyn’s speech/language class. Ms. Capone shared with the students her books and discussed her purpose and inspiration for writing them. The students discussed with her their own writing pieces and, with her help, were able to identify their own author’s purpose.
A Community Forum informational meeting and presentation regarding the New York State property tax cap and the 2012-13 School District budget will be held on Monday, February 27, at 7:30 p.m.
