Southampton School District is well represented at prestigious music festivals this year. Chorus, band and orchestra students have been invited to perform based on a combination of receiving a high adjudication score at the annual New York State School Music Association solo festivals and a teacher recommendation.
On Sunday, February 5, Southampton Intermediate School students Robby McKnight, Benjamin Zaloga, Kivlan King, and Julia Kepczynska and SHS students Jessica McKnight, Benjamin Hoertnagl-Pereira, Conor Kiembock, Mariah Neknez, Christian Oliveros, and Rory King performed with the Long Island String Festival Association orchestra.
