Amagansett Life-Saving Station Plans Clam Contest, Film Screening

The Amagansett Life-Saving and Coast Guard Station Museum will host its 34th annual Largest Clam Contest on Sunday, October 5, from noon to 3 p.m. at the station on Atlantic Avenue. The event will feature live music, a chowder contest, a live marine species exhibit and other activities. Chowder entries must be delivered by 11:30 a.m. on the day of the contest, and clams entered must be dug between September 29 and October 4 from waters in East Hampton Town.
