Room for one more? That is what the owners of a property on the market in Southampton are suggesting. The 7.3-acre spread, with a $10 million ask, already boasts a three-home compound and the zoning is in place to allow a fourth dwelling to be built. The estate at 189 Sebonac Road is represented by Bespoke Real Estate.

Known as Green Top Farm, the property would be a perfect place to live “fore” a golf lover. The gated compound is next not one but three courses that routinely are listed as one of the best golf meccas in the United States—National Golf Links of America, Sebonack Golf Club, and Shinnecock Hills, which once more is to host the U.S. Open, in 2018.

One of the structures on the site is the 6-bedroom, 5-bath, 3,400-square-foot main residence. It features a dining terrace covered by a vine-wrapped pergola, an herb garden with a lily pond, and on the well-landscaped grounds is an in-ground saltwater pool, a tennis court, and even a soccer field. The rest of the compound consists of two guest houses. Each one is 2,700 square feet containing 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, and both have undergone renovations in the past year.

Of course, one does not have to care one stroke about golf to be interested in Green Top Farm. However, consider this: According to conceptual plans developed by the Bridgehampton-based Marder’s Nursery for the property, with includes the fourth residence, three par-3 holes can be created on the grounds. They would be modeled after the Hill Head hole on Shinnecock Hills and the Redan and Short holes at National Golf Links. It doesn’t hurt that the most recently constructed of the three courses, Sebonack Golf Club, was designed by Tom Doak and the legendary Jack Nicklaus.
