Helen M. (née Keogh) Weber, a Southampton resident for more than 42 years, died on May 3 at the Westhampton Care Center. She was 86.
Born January 5, 1923, in Brooklyn to Mary (née McGuire) and James Keogh, she was the proprietor of the Easterner Motel & Cottages in Shinnecock Hills for 12 years in the 1960s and 1970s, before settling at Southampton Shores in North Sea.
She is survived by five sons, Robert, Richard, Raymond, Christopher and James Weber, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband, Robert H. Weber and a daughter, Elizabeth Comer, predeceased her.
The family received visitors on May 5 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral mass was held on May 6 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary in Southampton. Interment followed at Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
