Southampton Village Parade of Lights and tree lighting

Dec 1, 2009 4:06 PM

In the midst of the Southampton Country Holiday festivities—in which holiday characters will take an all-day stroll through the village along with Victorian carolers, horse and buggy rides and hayrides on Saturday, December 5—Southampton Village’s annual Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the firehouse on Windmill Lane.

Decorated fire trucks will parade around the village and down Main Street and Jobs Lane to Agawam Park where the annual tree lighting will be held at 5 p.m.

Immediately following will be a free, post-tree lighting reception with Santa and refreshments at the Cultural Center on Pond Lane, sponsored by the Southampton Village Christmas Committee. For more information, call 287-4377.
