Perle Fine and Maurice Berezov's headstone. Ms. Fine was an abstract expressionist and Hans Hoffman School alumna who participated in many of the movement's important exhibitions. Their home and  studio were on Red Dirt Road.  KYRIL BROMLEY

Abraham Rattner and his wife, Esther Gentle Rattner established a summer art school in Sag Harbor's former Baptist chapel, where in 1956, they briefly employed Jackson Pollock's mistress, Ruth Kligman. Later, the Rattners had a home and studio on 30A Egypt Lane in East Hampton. Mr. Rattner's distinctive signature is engraved on his tombstone. Ms. Gentle's son, Allen Leepa, founder of the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art at St. Petersburg College in Florida, is also buried at Green River. KYRIL BROMLEY
