Woman Seriously Injured in Springs Car Crash

An East Hampton woman was seriously injured in a single-car crash early Thursday morning, East Hampton Town Police said. The crash occurred just after 2 a.m. on Three Mile Harbor-Hog Creek Road. Police say that an SUV driven by Judith Santiago-Martinez, 27, apparently swerved off the roadway and struck a tree. The crash was reported by a nearby resident who heard the crash. Police said that Santiago-Martinez was cut from the car and was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
