Elizabeth Constance Walsh, the daughter of Michael and Anita Walsh of Water Mill, was married to Matthew Lawrence Henigan, the son of Lieutenant Colonel Lawrence Henigan, USMCR, and Karin Henigan of Newark, Delaware, on December 9 at the Manor House at Commonwealth in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The Manor House is an 18th century fieldstone farmhouse located on the grounds of the Commonwealth National Golf Club in Bucks County. Music was provided by the Ardmore Trio under the direction of Gene Isayev.

The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend David A. Oppold. The bride’s sisters, Audrey Smith and Grace Walsh, served as the matron of honor and maid of honor. Jeremy McQuaide, a childhood friend of the groom, served as the best man. Bridesmaids included the groom’s sister, Seana Henigan, and the bride’s friend, Leann Caldwell. Groomsmen included the bride’s brother, Michael Walsh, and Brian McCann and Oscar Jones, friends of the groom.

The bride wore a sleeveless, empire waist, ivory, satin gown with a cathedral train, accented with silver beading, crystals and pearls. She carried red roses sprinkled with white, starlike stephanotises. The bridesmaids wore black, chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of white roses.

The bride, a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, began dating Mr. Henigan her sophomore year and immediately confided to her siblings “he is the one.” Mrs. Henigan is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and Mr. Henigan, a degree in aviation mechanics. The couple reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
