For the first time in nearly half a century, a comprehensive survey of work by William Glackens—who painted a number of his key works in Bellport over the course of several summers—is now on view, this time at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill.
The exhibit spans the artist’s career from the 1890s through the 1930s, and will run through Monday, October 13. On Saturday, Judith Dolkart will give a lecture at 11 a.m., followed by a docent tour at 2 p.m.
Museum admission is $10, $8 for seniors, or free for members, students and children under age 18. For more information, call 283-2118 or visit parrishart.org.
