Lois R. (Richardson) Burdick of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, formerly of Narberth, Pennsylvania, and Westhampton Beach, died at her home on August 11. She was 84.
Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Roy Richardson and Claire (Gano) Richardson. She graduated from Packer Collegiate Institute and New York University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree.
She was employed as a nursery school teacher at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Narberth, as well as a library assistant with the Narberth Community Library, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the Narberth Civic Association and Narberth Community Theater.
Ms. Burdick is survived by her husband, William; a sister, Jill Britton of North Carolina; and three children, Jeffrey H. Burdick of South Carolina, Deborah Page Cloud of New Jersey, and Heather Klein of Lansdowne. She also is survived by six grandchildren, Justin, Jamison and Jennifer Cloud, James Burdick, Lauren Abbott, and William Burdick; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, James D.D. Richardson.
