The Westhampton Beach wrestling team made easy work of its host on January 11, rolling into Mount Sinai to claim a decisive 53-16 victory to improve to 3-0 in League VI action. The Hurricanes are one of three undefeated squads sitting at the top of the league, sharing the spot with Shoreham/Wading River and Elwood/John Glenn.
And while a victory is always the ultimate outcome a coach wants, Westhampton Beach head coach Paul Bass felt that his wrestlers let him down a little bit once they saw the dual meet was going to be a victory for them.
