James W. Mulé of Westhampton Beach, formerly of East Quogue, died at Peconic Bay Medical Center on Monday, November 3. He was 50.
Mr. Mulé was the former manager of a record warehouse, Scott Distributing, in Island Park. Survivors said he was very passionate about music and was an accomplished guitar player.
Mr. Mulé is survived by his wife of 28 years, Valerie (Scanlan); and five children, James W. Mulé Jr. of Hauppauge, Tina Mulé of Hampton Bays, Jennilee Street and husband Wayne of Mastic Beach, and Anthony Mulé and Kristen Mulé, both of Westhampton Beach. He is also survived by his mother, Carol Mulé, and his mother-in-law, Judith Scanlan, both of Long Beach; a brother, Michael Mulé and wife Susan of Arizona; a sister, Blanche Posey of Long Beach; and six grandchildren, Marques, Christian, Avaiyaha, Aamari, Braedyn and Caleb.
Visiting hours were held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on Friday, with a prayer service conducted by Father Kevin Thompson of the Church of St. Rosalie. Cremation followed.
