Evodkia Bandrowski Of Westhampton Dies January 27

Evodkia Bandrowski of Westhampton died on January 27 at the Bayside Manor Assisted Living and Special Care Facility in Keansburg, New Jersey. She was 92.

Ms. Bandrowski was born on March 13, 1922, near Buchach, Ukraine, and emigrated to the United States in 1949. She was a longtime resident of Westhampton.

Ms. Bandrowski was predeceased by her first husband, Paulo Babji, and more recently by her husband of 39 years, Stephen. She is survived by three children, Anna Scanapicco and husband Joseph of New Jersey, Raymond Babji and wife Ann of Florida, and Mary Ann Ciampa and husband Gregory of Massachusetts; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Sister Josephat Slobodian, OSBM, of Pennsylvania, Barbara Sypko of Patterson and Anna Bodnar of Yonkers.

Visitation is at Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach on Friday, February 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow visitation at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Riverhead at noon. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great, 710 Fox Chase Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046; note Evodkia Bandrowski on the memo line.
