Tierra Mar and Atlantica, the popular restaurant and catering venue on Dune Road in Westhampton Beach, both closed on Saturday, October 31.

Todd Jacobs, the owner and chef at Tierra Mar, shuttered his businesses, both of which were located inside the Bath and Tennis Hotel, so he could focus on his other restaurant in Long Beach, according to a woman who would only identify herself as Mr. Jacobs’s kitchen manager. Mr. Jacobs’s other restaurant, also named Atlantica, is located in Long Beach.

Mr. Jacobs could not be reached for comment this week.

The board members of the Bath and Tennis Hotel were not available to comment this week, said Joe Loney, the general manager of the facility. He added that the board is currently in negotiations with other potential tenants.

Ed Kurosz, the vice president of the Greater Westhampton Beach Chamber of Commerce, said he wishes Mr. Jacobs luck in his venture in Long Beach.

“Todd’s outstanding contributions and devotion to the face of quality dining in Westhampton Beach over the last 15 years will surely be missed by the community,” Mr. Kurosz wrote in an e-mail. “The Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working closely with the new incoming operators of our Westhampton Beach oceanfront jewel to guarantee future success.”
