There are some really green perfectly manicured lawns on Mill Pond. According to Wikipedia, Algal blooms are the result of an excess of nutrients, particularly phosphorus. Phosphorus is a chemical element. Phosphorus compounds are also widely used in explosives, nerve agents, friction matches, fireworks, pesticides, toothpaste and detergents. We didn’t get a whole lot of rain this season and fertilizers and pesticides were probably put out on and near Mill Pond. When we finally did get rain, I have a feeling these chemicals weren’t soaked into the ground, chances are flowed directly into Mill Pond.
In addition to the chemicals, In recent years, Canada Geese populations has grown substantially, so much so that many consider them pests for their droppings, especially because of the bacteria in their droppings.
I took a ride around mill pond yesterday via boat and the entire shore line is littered with dead fish. It truly broke my heart to see this graveyard.
I want to know if there was ever enforcement or checkups on what chemicals were used around Mill Pond. Could lawn treatments or pesticides have anything to do with the 100,000+ fish dead on Mill Pond Dr. Gobler?

I went around the whole pond. There is dead fish everywhere.. There is also birds eating them all day... It's not limited to one area, that I'm 100% sure of.. " Sep 24, 08 1:43 PM
Hey JL-ST - Wonder how much money those solar bees cost us... The water is much greener after they put them in... This is horrible.... " Sep 24, 08 1:47 PM
They don't want anyone in hook pond...
They'll call the police if they see you fishing...

John Q. - Making sure you saw the part where it suggests only females are strip searched? Or the part where the strips search was allegedly broadcasted throughout the police station? It's fascinating that since 2003 not one single person has made additional claims of unconstitutional strip searches. Part of the problem here is that there doesn't appear to be any other “criminals” who got “stripped down and bent over”. So if this was your daughter, wife, girlfriend or mother who apparently got singled out you’d be okay with it and justify it by an unusable amount of marijuana debris? " Oct 10, 08 1:26 PM
The marijuana was missing too. I think the rolling papers would’ve been useless.

35mph will never happen, if you do 35 stay in the right lane so I can pass you. " Dec 9, 08 12:43 PM
Working a second job is certainly not illegal and I comment those who do in an honest & ethical way. The officers are paid by tax dollars. I believe if you were a homeowner in the Village of Southampton you might care a little too if there was reason to believe that the officers were working their side job while on duty.
