Southampton Town Board Revisits Police Overtime Debate

$200,000 in poice overtime costs? Why was this overtime necessary and was the town board just notified about this in October? Why are board members not being kept more up to date. Why didn't Anna know about this sooner? Didn't the chief let her know. Whats going on, this spending must stop. " Nov 11, 11 1:04 AM

Fleming, Scalera Win Southampton Board Race; Throne-Holst Reelected

I totally agree Linda lost but she did very well as a write in candidate. Also as you said Anna won but received less votes Tuesday than she did in 2008. Less democrat vote. Do you think this is a sign that the voter's do notice that all she really cares about is herself.
By the way Say What makes comments with no facts to back them up. " Nov 11, 11 6:48 PM

Southampton Town Board Revisits Police Overtime Debate

They are merely asking for the plan. Sounds reasonable to me, I don't see how they are micro managing. " Nov 11, 11 7:24 PM

Fleming, Scalera Win Southampton Board Race; Throne-Holst Reelected

Hey SayWhat
Did you ever consider that Ms Anna only really cares about Anna. Have you ever commented about Anna being a liar? Have you ever commented on Anna hiring a town attorney in 2010 for political reasons? Does it matter to you that Anna took over $10,000 in illegal donations? Its time for you to think about who is missing the point and keep your bs comments in check. " Nov 14, 11 11:22 PM

I do know her, do you? Look Say What I can see from your comments, opinion or not we will never agree. Anna has an agenda to suit herself. I doubt Anna thinks the job is thankless, yes I know more of your opinion.
I seem to remember you complained once about a comment being to long. Factual comments are hard to take especially if someone doesn't agree. This long post of yours as interesting as it was to read, leads me to believe that you have some free time. Maybe it would do you well to get to know the supervisor, get involved with our community, attend the town board meetings, listen to the exchange of comments between the members of the board, follow the TB agenda's and work sessions. Learn for yourself so that maybe your comments can be based on facts not opinion." Nov 15, 11 7:56 PM

Contractor Claims Southampton Councilman Locked Him In Office After Worker Broke Into Home

Can we just be clear on what political party Malone's is associated with. He is a conservative and still the Conservative Party Leader for the Southampton Town. He has a history of not being truthful,I'm not surprised to learn of this kind of behavior. " Jan 10, 12 11:07 PM

Jim Malone is a liar:
He said he would step down from his position as Deputy County Clerk if he won the election, he did not.
He also said he would step down as leader of the Southampton Town Conservative party if he won the election, he did not.
He thinks the people would forget the promise's he made. He just blows smoke up everyone's butt. He is a disgrace, how can anyone believe anything he has to say. Does anyone remember he wanted to run for supervisor 2009 and then deceided to run for town council? What a joke he is. RESIGN JIM! " Jan 13, 12 11:59 AM

Take a deep breath and calm down. We are all on the same page Malone is liar!
Some referred to Malone as a republican and wondered how the GOP would spin this. He is not part of the GOP (republican party).
I hope by now they realize they need to cut him loose and not cross endorse him a 2nd time." Jan 13, 12 12:09 PM

I just read on another blog that in 2008 Malone took out campaign ads in a small local paper that no longer is in business, adding up to $1,450 and never paid the bill. Now there are 3 people he has not paid.
What a low-life Jim Malone is, he has some serious issues. He is unfit to serve the people of Southampton. " Jan 13, 12 9:35 PM

Sally Pope is a lovely woman, but Mr. Rodney is correct the poor woman had no clue." Jan 14, 12 7:56 PM

Jim Malone will never resign, thats just my opinion. " Jan 15, 12 6:40 PM

As I said, Malone will never resign, he would only leave if the ethics board found him guilty of something.
We could only dream that if he were to step down the TB would be in a dead lock, voting on controversial issues. Nuzzi & Scalera would vote together and ATH & Fleming would also. I don't think they would agree on who to appoint, that would be a dead lock too. As HH said above they would never agree on Bender so we are looking at a special election ASAP.
Again, Malone will never resign he's way to arrogant. " Jan 15, 12 6:57 PM
