Eruv Proponents Offer Deal To Westhampton Beach Village; Board Is Considering Offer

The Lawyers for the EEEA were providing their services PRO BONO. Period. If they planned to charge the defendants for the legal fees then it wasn't Pro Bono. It was Bullying! Now where are the Lechis? I would like to see a First Amendment ruling; separation of Church and State. How many of these devote People are going to push anything from Quogue or Southampton to Westhampton? If they can't be Orthodox without creating all these problems, just be a regular Jew. I am not anti Semitic." Mar 31, 16 8:50 PM

'Glamping' To Be Offered At Cedar Point County Park In East Hampton

Why should Terra Glamping from Brooklyn make $$$ on Suffolk Co. Park land providing the entitlement group their luxury camping experience?" Jul 19, 18 5:47 PM

UPDATE: Opponents Raise Concerns Over Southampton ZBA's Decision To Approve East Quogue Golf Course As Recreational Amenity

This is the stupidest thing I have seen in 30 years of paying taxes to live in East Quogue plus ten years renting in the village. There is no benefit to anyone but these questionable characters from Arizona; and to base the decision on wording and semantics and the definition of "accessory usage" is beyond ridiculous Welcome to BLACK BAYS" Nov 16, 18 3:56 PM

What is so hard to understand about 5 (five) Acre Residential Zoning? That is what these "Friends"of East Quogue bought. No PDD no PRD just 5 acre residential zoning in a fragile Pine Barren area which is surrounded by No Development areas. A private 18 hole golf resort is not a swimming pool or a tennis court or a Playhouse, whatever that is, and Rennert was not trying to get around any zoning. How can an appointed ZBA control the Fate of a Village nearby hamlets and the Township? What is a five year DUMP TRUCK PARADE going to be like? Fun for all you Golf fans out there! Don't drink the water either." Nov 18, 18 4:33 PM

Planning Board Pushes Off Decision On Whether Additional Environmental Study Is Needed For East Quogue Golf Course Resort

if Discovery felt it necessary to spend years and $$$ to shoehorn their ill conceived development through; even they must have thought the zoning meant no golf. Give them 5 acre Residential, and let them build as many houses on 5 acre lots as the want. As of right!!! that's what they bought. They are not our friends, how are the law suits coming? If some Board person want to play with the zoning definitions do that the proper way, not because someone says it does't specificallly say GOLF COURSES. Then say OK you may now go ahead with your project. I live at the end of Weesuck Avenue in East Quogue and I know that they don't care about me." Mar 19, 19 7:41 PM
