Tim and the Democrats thank you." Sep 14, 10 7:28 PM
The market? The market is the strongest it has been in years, but the market has absolutely nada to do with the real economy. " Sep 14, 10 7:30 PM
The dems would like to thank the voters of Delaware and New York and all teapartiers everywhere for giving us these two November victories! " Sep 15, 10 7:49 AM
Attention moderator, why have you allowed observant's vicious, personal attacks to remain on this board? " Sep 16, 10 5:17 PM
"Taxation without representation"? These are duly elected officials - whether you like them or not is irrelevant - they were elected to represent you.
Quick news update: it is not 1763 and we colonists are no longer under the control of King George III" Sep 23, 10 8:31 AM
It is always the people who don't have kids or whose children perform poorly that complain about education spending, unions and test scores instead of looking in the mirror." Sep 24, 10 8:32 AM
Single payer is the only answer" Sep 24, 10 12:17 PM
"In a completely rational society, the best of us would be teachers and the rest of us would have to settle for something else."
Lee Iacocca " Sep 24, 10 12:18 PM
The state with the highest average teacher salary was Connecticut, at $57,760. California was a very close second, where the average teacher salary is $57,604. The state with the lowest average teacher salary was South Dakota, at $34,039." Sep 24, 10 1:17 PM
Yes, I am sure you and Palin, Christine O'Donnell, Sharon Angle, Rand Paul, Dick Armey have all the solutions. " Sep 24, 10 10:10 PM
Give us a break, littlejim, "Go get a job"?! Hey, if you're so above it, then why bother posting? But, since you are posting her, iit looks like you could do with some gainful employment yourself." Sep 27, 10 10:06 AM
Hah! I am not a teacher, but someone who respects educators. My kids did great when they were in elementary school and they are doing even better now, perhaps yours aren't hence your obsession with test scores and your disrespect for the teaching profession. I don't dismiss test results, I dismiss you interpretation of those results.
In countries that we hold up as examples of the best educators in the world, Findland, for instance, educators are considered the most valuable professionals in the country (and yes, they are well paid) and that respect and admiration once existed here, but people like you prefer to yell and scream and blame everyone else.
Where in any of my posts did I say good schools were not important? Don't use my posting as an excuse for your irrelevant rants. "Ignorant"? Take a look in the mirror. I have read your posts and your inability to accept responsibility has clouded your ability to reason. By the way, if the real world means thinking like you - forget it." Sep 28, 10 1:54 PM
progressnow is right on! double standard and others are completely misrepresenting what is actually being requested here. Why? Explain how this would have any effect whatsoever on your life. " Oct 1, 10 11:55 AM
If it has not effect on you, then why oppose it at all? And as far as a precedent being set, who cares? I am an agnostic and don't follow any religion but I could care less if Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, or Atheists want to put a black marking on a utility pole. " Oct 1, 10 12:16 PM
Yes, you're right, a small black demarcation on a utility post is the same as a 20 foot inflatable Buddha. You are using hyperbole to rationalize the irrational.

Ronald Reagan my _____." Oct 7, 10 12:47 PM
So, observant, me and my "quasi-moronic gangmates" (only one of whom I actually know and she has not even posted on this topic) have "driven you over the edge", huh? That was one short trip. By the way, the use of the word "retarded" is beyond childish and offensive." Oct 7, 10 12:52 PM
Hey, Ice the far right tea party leaders Christine O'Donell, Sharon Angle, Rand Paul, Jim DeMint, Sarah Palin, et al believe that if a 14 year-old girl is raped by her uncle she should be forced by the government to have the child. That is NOT an exaggeration of their stance. Talk about tyranny and fascism! And yes, Altschuler is pure evil. " Oct 7, 10 1:53 PM
All right, board members, let's hear you say no. Don't just tell us you are allowed to say no, actually do it!" Oct 8, 10 3:30 PM
Joe hampton never has a single, productive thing to add to any conversation. He only attacks and calls names. By the way, it IS hundreds. Do you read the newspapers, do you attend CAC and board meetings? You can insult women with your misogynist name-calling ,but all it proves is how ignorant you truly are. You want to know the real tyranny we face in this country? Tea party ditto heads filled with hate and bigotry." Oct 10, 10 11:52 AM
Once again, joe hampton proves that he is a misogynist bigot with nothing to add but ignorance and hate." Oct 10, 10 11:54 AM
You understand perfectly well, justquackey. By the way, glad to see you're a fan of Huff Post! " Oct 10, 10 10:46 PM
Millionaire Randy Altschuler was the founder and co-CEO of OfficeTiger, an Indian outsourcing company. In their Indian offices, Office Tiger paid “roughly a tenth” of what would be made for comparable work in the US. At its height, Altschuler’s outsourcing company had 10,000 employees in 9 countries, including Sri Lanka, India and the Philippines.
In a 2003 interview with the Financial Times, Altschuler even said “In India you get a much higher standard of person doing assistant work.”
You hate Tim Bishop, I get it, but what do you like about Altschuler?

Where are all of the teabaggers that call Bishop "a career politician"? LaValle has been in office four times longer. 18 terms? My god." Oct 21, 10 2:15 PM
Hey, yessiree, does everything you write have to be a lie? You only prove what folks already think about you tea partiers. No wonder you support people like Christine O'Donnell and Sharon Angle. " Oct 21, 10 5:33 PM
Teabaggers HATE George W's tarp, but they'll vote for an Outsourcer who took thousands from Goldman Sachs?! With Halloween coming, you tea drinkers should consider dressing as either the Mad Hatter or Zombies" Oct 22, 10 11:08 PM
mackt, you are the most bigoted, ignorant, know-nothing posting on these boards and, given your company, that is quite an accomplishment. " Oct 26, 10 8:09 AM
Reagan was a tool and his "greatness" is one of the biggest republican propaganda myths of all time that only the most gullible believe.! But, hey, mackt supports sarah palin, so what would you expect.
