Yearounder, I agree, as a coach you do stick up for your players as I always did. It's the way they stuck up for them that all should have a problem with. As a coach when you question an umps call, it is proper for the head coach to call time out and approach the home plate umpire in private conversation to discuss the call, but that did not happen. For THREE coaches to be told to leave the premises just shows their mishandling of the situation and their true character, that's what make them "Jackasses" and their behavior embarrasses the town and school. I don't blame the student players, because they are the product of the coaches coaching skills.
P.S. spectator misconduct is also another big problem that needs to be addressed. Enough said.

One inning, three Mariner players and the entire coaching staff were ejected by home plate umpire. Glenn was winning 5-1 when the game was suspended.
What's there to get? Am I reading the wrong story? Sounds like a lot of you are just sour grapes and sore losers.

Homeless sex offenders are in need of help on a lot of levels for the good of society. They are another part of many of society's intricate social dilemmas. Decisions should be based on the constitutional rights of the interested parties and not by knee jerk reactions by moral opportunists. The models exist but, seem unreached." May 8, 10 4:04 PM

Did the police do (onsite or offsite) ballistics test to see if the guns presented at the scene had been recently fired? What happened to the rifle type gun? Did the K-9 unit check all the suspected parties houses? Was there drinking involved? Just because shots were fired does not give the Gestapo (police) the right to barge into someones private home rough-up, handcuff and terrorize it's occupants without a warrant or probable cause. What is the reasonable belief the people without any guns has committed a crime and what is the reasonable belief that the people with guns had committed a crime?(illegally discharging a firearm) What grounds did the police have when forcefully removing private citizens from their private home totally based on hearsay? People of Westhampton, be afraid, be very afraid 'cause you are next, and WHY NOT? (P.S. vote Ron Paul to get your rights back)." Aug 30, 11 8:38 PM

The character of any area can be altered for the worse. If one cares how it looks on the whole, then the final question to a reasonable person is "does it fit in or not"? If it does, build it. This is not rocket science. "Sign, sign everywhere a sign, blocking out the scenery, breaking up my mind." The town board said "you got to have a membership card, boy, to get on the inside". I can understand the State of New York paying for the dredging of the inlet because" We the People" of NY have a voice, but to use Federal dollars is irresponsible being that the US Congressional Budget Office, the CBO, is predicting a federal government budget deficit of around 1.1 trillion US dollars for fiscal year 2012. The 5.1 trillion dollars that Bishop got is just adding insult to injury. The taxpayer will not forget come election time Mr. Bishop. Federal spending is out of control. Wake up people. A NOTE TO THE ROMNEYBOTS: HERE ARE SOME FACTS ABOUT THE ROMNEY ADMINISTRATION: I love it when RomneyBots tell half the story just like Mitt only gave us half the Obama quote and called it facts. Did they tell you about the 2.8 BILLION dollar bill MA has for RomneyCare that he left us to pay? Did they tell you that Mitt mandated 400 MILLION in annual increased fees, fines & tolls on the middle class to help offset the cost of his failed policies? I didn't notice them telling you about Mitt's MILLIONS of dollars in local funding cuts that forced up real estate taxes while cutting funding for 1000 police officers, 800 teachers and the closing of dozens of fire stations. Did they tell you that MA has the highest insurance premiums in the nation due to the unmanageable costs of RomenyCare? Did they tell you about the hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars in federal bailouts we needed to keep Mitt's Mandates going? Then after his term was over he destroyed all the e-mails, erased the servers and sold the hard drives so there would be no record of his corrupt administration. Of course not, people on the Mitt payroll leave out all those facts but ya know what, facts are facts and the truth will get out and Mitt will never be able to defend his record. Do some homework. I already lived through one failed Romney administration, I refuse to let people like you make me live though another one." Jul 5, 12 1:14 PM
Calling all Republican Ron Paul Delegates and wanna-be delegates to the Nationiol Convention in Tampa Florida this August. Join in the historic lawsuit now before the courts to protect the delegates the plaintiffs in the case.
The lawsuit seeks a courts guidance whether delegates are free to vote their conscience at the convention free from fear, coercion or threats of any kind.
The lawsuit also seeks to have the court order Federal Marshals to protect the delegates since RNC state apparatus has recently been injuring delegate with hired security and off-duty police. Federal Marshals are superior to local and state police and are under the authority of the Department of Justice. The lawsuit seeks to have Federal Marshals in all areas of the Tampa Bay Forum Convention center including at all doorways, the parking lot, and in the aisles on the floor of the convention to specifically protect the delegates.
All National Delegates and Alternates are urged to call 1 850. 417. 8543

All you politicians gotta STOP eroding MY(our) right(s) of choice. This is a bad idea forcing individuals to accept a new tax. Don't any of you get it? Less Gov't is better and it is where we are heading. Get Gov't out of my life. I don't like you and I don't need you. I can take care of myself, my family and my part of Mother earth. Tell me something useful, something like "why do all politicians want to screw people just to make tons of money while doing it." I'm tired of your nanny state of mind. Get with the program or get trampled by the New Liberty WAVE coming at you." Jul 11, 12 11:13 PM

• The power of the sword, say the minority..., is in the hands of Congress. My friends and countrymen, it is not so, for The powers of the sword are in the hands of the yeomanry of America from sixteen to sixty. The militia of these free commonwealths, entitled and accustomed to their arms, when compared with any possible army, must be tremendous and irresistible. Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress has no power to disarm the militia. Their swords and every terrible implement of the soldier are the birthright of Americans. The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments but where, I trust in God, it will always remain, in the hands of the people. • Whereas civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.
