Hooters hoax in Bridgehampton

Puros - What I find hilarious is that you think we’re going lead our self to town hall asking for Hooters without a location, franchise and a financial backer. What kind of moron would go to town hall asking for Hooters without anything except a coming soon sign... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Thx for the giggle Puros

Southampton Village mayor and police chief at odds over officers' secondary employment applications

You can make Patrol, Sergeant and even Chief at the SHVDP without any college education. The ones who did get an education probably learned how to spell “their & interfering”.

Southampton Village Police launch internal investigation into inappropriate computer use

Pstevens - I care. If you paid property taxes in the Village of Southampton, you might care too. Being informed on what our local police department is up to is not a drawback of working and living in a small town, it’s a benefit. Thank you Southampton Press for your ongoing coverage of this police department.

Thedudeabides – Your post cracks me up. Of course, It’s the readers fault for commenting, the dispatchers fault for resigning and the 27east’s fault for printing.

Fair enough, we’re all absolutely entitled to our opinions. .Mine is that, I’m concerned that members of our local police department are at headquarters engaging in inappropriate behavior.. If your friends & family don’t care that their tax dollars are directly paying for it, that’s their right. A civil service job should be taken seriously at all times. " Apr 20, 10 2:18 PM
