While the bold-faced news might be that the big and small screen star Lorraine Bracco has put her Bridgehampton home on the market, there has been plenty of other real estate activity in the hamlet.

But first, Ms. Bracco, who had a major role in Martin Scorsese’s feature “Goodfellas” and was Dr. Melfi in the long-running “Sopranos” series on HBO. The Hicksville High School graduate has put 460 Butter Lane up for sale with a $3,800,000 ask. Built in 1996, Ms. Bracco purchased the house in 2004 from socialite Anne Hearst (for $1,600,000), and apparently 14 years later it’s time to move on. The 4,500-square-foot manse on a full acre has 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, chef’s kitchen, media room, and outside pool, all adjacent to an 11-acre reserve.

Even if it sells tomorrow, the Bracco property would not be the highest transaction in Bridgehampton of late. That distinction goes to three other sales, beginning with 112 Surfside Drive, which went for $7,300,000. On 1.09 acres, the 3,600-square-foot house has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and, best of all, ocean breezes and immediate ocean access. Bright and airy spaces feature an open living area with stone fireplace and wet bar, country kitchen, dining area highlighted by walls of glass, a south-facing lounge, outdoor decking, and a heated pool. We’re told that “the flat topography and simple landscaping create privacy while maximizing the excellence of this distinctive location.”

The busiest street in busy Bridgehampton has to be Surfside Drive, because #128 just sold for an even $7 million. This is for a 2,200-square-foot bungalow, so the location has to be great. The residence has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths on an acre of oceanfront property. With plenty of room, it’s not a stretch to picture a renovation and expansion in the near future.

Not far behind price-wise is 3 Sayres Court, which sold for $6,550,000. This 8,600-square-foot residence was purchased by John and Lynn Savarese. (A few readers may recall that Mr. Savarese was Martha Stewart’s attorney more than a decade ago when she got into some hot water with federal authorities.) The gated estate on 0.92 acre is just off Main Street yet enjoys views of nearby farmland. The shingled traditional home offers 8 bedrooms and 7 baths, and of course a stroll to Bobby Van’s, World Pie, Candy Kitchen, and other Bridgehampton eateries.
