Plenty of recent action in Sag Harbor. Let’s begin with the L’Hommedieu house at 258 Main Street, which we’re told has gone into contract. Represented by Sotheby’s International Realty and listed for $6 million last May, the most recent asking price was $4.95 million.

The 5,140-square-foot manse on 0.38 acre has five bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It is a Federal brick townhouse located prominently on the village’s iconic “Captains Row.” Built in the 1840s, this residence was restored by the architect Samuel White and newly decorated with an Elle Décor sensibility. Upon entering, one encounters a grand entry, a sweeping staircase, and two elegantly proportioned rooms: one a front parlor and one a formal dining room with fireplaces in each. Original oversized windows with classic details and interior shutters throughout flood the house with natural light. The high ceilings, intricate trim work, and wood floors accentuate the elegance and charm of this home. The well-appointed eat-in kitchen with top-quality finishes and appliances overlooks the garden conceived by the landscape designer Deborah Nevins. There is a master suite and sitting area with fireplaces, a separate wing with two bedrooms plus a full bath, a third-floor loft with a living room/media room, an office, playroom, and—yes—a yoga studio. We don’t know yet who the new owner is, but we expect he/she is saying “namaste.”

Another village property changing hands is 52 John Street. The seller is Sarah Heming. She previously owned 1 Fahey’s Road in Sag Harbor, then sold it to Christie Brinkley, who now has it on the market for $8.5 million. The price paid for 52 John was $3.65 million, and the buyer is Sara Colleton, who may be known to discerning fans of quality small-screen series as the producer of “Dexter,” then “Hannibal,” and more recently, “Gone.” Her new residence is a renovated 1910 farmhouse on 0.28 acre that is bulkheaded with a 75-foot dock and an available pool permit. The stylish home has views from most every room, with many verandas. There are four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a double living room, chef’s eat-in kitchen, a walk-in pantry, and dining and family area overlooking the water. The master suite comes with a terrace and a bath.

Another recent transaction involved 11 Eastville Avenue, purchased for $3.08 million by Renee and Robert Wong. The latter is the chief creative officer at Google Design after being vice president of design for Starbucks. Their 4,200-square-foot newly constructed home, with five bedrooms and 5.5 baths, is on 0.24 acre and steps to Havens Beach and the (unofficial) Sag Harbor dog park and minutes to Main Street restaurants, shops, and galleries. The first floor features free-flowing living areas that seamlessly transition to outdoor covered living space with a Turkish marble patio and wood-burning fireplace. The heated pool is surrounded by lawn, pear trees, and lush landscaping that provides plenty of entertaining space and privacy. The open, light-filled kitchen (when it’s not raining) features custom shaker cabinetry, 2-inch white swan marble, top-of-the-line appliances, and handmade subway tile back splash.
