Susan Jean Duenn of East Quogue died on June 12, 2019, at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore of complications from pulmonary anemia. She was 48.
Born Janauary 1, 1971, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, she moved to Long Island in 1978 with her parents. She grew up in Quogue, lived in Westhampton, and most recently resided in East Quogue.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in gene technology from SUNY and worked for years in quality control for pharmaceutical companies.
Survivors said she was a bright and loving person.
She is survived by her parents, Richard and Jean Duenn.
Interment was in the family plot at the Quogue Cemetery on June 18. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Werner-Rothwell Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach.
