Culhane, a resident of Hampton Bays since 2005, is seeking her third consecutive three-year term. A kindergarten teacher at East Quogue Elementary School since 2004, Culhane received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Southampton College in 1998 and a master’s degree in literacy from Long Island University in 2008. James F. McKenna will fight for his place on the Southampton School District Board of Education when, next month, three candidates vie for two open seats. The current board vice president will face newcomers Ruth B. White-Dunne and Robert Zachary Epley on May 21, while board member Anastasia Gavalas is not seeking reelection for a four-year term.
