Nazi Saboteur Caught Once Again In Amagansett

A reenactment of a famous 1942 incident, when a Nazi agent swam ashore at Atlantic Beach in Amagansett and was caught by a Coastguardsman on patrol before he could commit sabotage, was held Friday.  KYRIL BROMLEY PHOTOS

this was truly a great event. the weather was wonderful and the life station station looks great. it takes a community like east hampton to make this restoration and event happen. yes that means community donors and politicians also. well done by all
