DeliciousDympna and William Vernon of South Jamesport announce the engagement of their daughter, Dympna Vernon, to Jamie Calandro, son of Edward and Carolyn Calandro of Southampton and Falls Village, Connecticut, and grandson of Thomas and Mary Moore of Southampton.
Ms. Vernon, a 2001 graduate of McGann-Mercy High School in Riverhead and a 2007 graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, is an early childhood education teacher in Lindenhurst. Mr. Calandro, who currently works as a music director for McGann-Mercy High School, is a 1998 graduate of Southampton High School and a 2002 graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie.
The couple plans a wedding for June 27.
