Riverside

Jason Priebe, 29, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Lake Avenue at 12:21 a.m. Monday on a bench warrant for failing to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court to answer previous drug-related charges. Mr. Priebe was taken to police headquarters and held for arraignment on Monday morning.

East Quogue

An employee of the Hamptons on the Bay nightclub on Montauk Highway contacted Town Police after someone broke into the business and stole two cases of Heineken bottles. The theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on May 30 and 10 a.m. on June 1.

Flanders

A 16-year-old boy from Riverhead was arrested by Southampton Town Police at 7:13 p.m. on June 1 on Flanders Road and charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a violation. Police said the boy stopped his bicycle in the middle of the sidewalk, preventing pedestrians from passing. When he was informed that he was under arrest, the boy began flailing his arms and refused to be handcuffed, police said. He was transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment.

Danielle Hall, 29, of Northampton was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Port Street at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Police said Ms. Hall struck another woman in the face.

Water Mill

Charles Mitchell, 47, of Central Islip was stopped by Southampton Town Police on Lower Seven Ponds Road at 5:41 p.m. on June 1 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Mr. Mitchell was originally stopped for failing to obey a stop sign.

Hampton Bays

Southampton Town Police charged the following individuals with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor, last week: Jaime Hernandez, 24, of Southampton; Steven Seacrist, 18, of Hampton Bays; and Lauren Koeneke, 24, of Hampton Bays.

Mizanur Rahman, 49, of Woodside was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Good Ground Road at 2 p.m. on May 14 and charged with unlicensed operation of taxicab, a misdemeanor. Police said Mr. Rahman was driving a taxi without the proper town permit.

A 16-year-old boy from Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police at 10:27 p.m. on May 15 on Montauk Highway and charged with making graffiti and possession of a graffiti instrument, both misdemeanors. Police said the boy was drawing on the wall of the John’s Restaurant shopping center with a purple marker.

An East Hampton man reported to Southampton Town Police that sometime between 8 p.m. on May 25 and 6 a.m. on May 26, someone slashed the front left tire of his car while it was parked in the Wild By Nature parking lot on Montauk Highway.

A Hampton Bays woman reported to Southampton Town Police that sometime between 6:30 p.m. on May 30 and 7:45 a.m. on June 1, someone stole $854 worth of items from her car while it was parked near her home.

Katherine Moncada, 18, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police at her St. Johns Road home at 1:54 p.m. on June 3 on a bench warrant for failing to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court to answer a prior aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree charge. She paid a $220 fine and was released.

A cab driver from Center Moriches called Southampton Town Police at 5:45 a.m. last Thursday, June 4, after one of his fares stole $180 from his wallet before returning the money. The victim told police that he had two fares in his cab, a man and a woman, and that the woman fell down when exiting the cab on School Street. The driver said that when he attempted to assist the woman, the man stole the cash from his wallet and then fled the scene. The victim, who said he knew the man, went to the man’s house with officers to retrieve the money. No charges were filed.

A Southampton man reported to Southampton Town Police that sometime between 5 p.m. on June 4 and 3 a.m. on Friday, someone broke the gauges on his boat, which was parked near Oakland’s Restaurant and Marina on Dune Road. The victim also reported that his GPS unit, computer and monitor were all thrown in the water.

A Mount Sinai woman called police after she said another woman punched her in the face while both were at Neptune’s Beach Club on Dune Road at 6:47 p.m. on Saturday. The complainant said she was punched after calling the other woman a slut. No charges were filed.

Valentino Lopez, 24, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police in front of CB’s Bar and Grill on Montauk Highway at 6:31 p.m. on Sunday and charged with third-degree forgery, a misdemeanor. Police said Mr. Lopez was stopped while trying to leave the parking lot after management reported that he was in a dispute with another customer and was found with a fake Social Security card.
