Post offices to open at 9 a.m.

The U.S. Postal Service announced Monday that the retail service hours at six South Fork post offices are changing as of July 1.

Starting next month, the retail counters at the Amagansett, Montauk, Quogue, Sag Harbor, Wainscott and Westhampton post offices will open at 9 a.m.. The offices’ hours are being adjusted in response to customer usage, according to the Postal Service.
