Pianofest in the Hamptons has returned for its 21st season, with weekly concerts and special events continuing through Saturday, August 15.

Under the direction of its founder, Paul Schenly, Pianofest again presents an international cast of talented young artists and master teachers in a blend of public performance and music appreciation. Concerts will include commentary about the performances and the music’s historical context. A distinguished faculty of visiting artists will assist with teaching and coaching the participants, who come from top music schools worldwide.

The summer’s first concert was held on Monday, June 29, at the Levitas Center for the Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center, and the series is now moving to the Avram Theater at Stony Brook Southampton for six Monday concerts. Continuing through August 10, the Monday concerts are offered from 5 to 7 p.m.

A reception with refreshments follows each performance, giving all an opportunity to meet the artists in an informal setting.

Tickets to individual concerts are $12, and students are admitted free. Tickets are available at the door on the day of the concert only.

A special benefit event will be held at the Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack on Saturday, July 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the cocktail party
with music in the gardens will support scholarships for Pianofest’s participants.

Tickets for the garden party and concert are $75 per person, and reservations are recommended. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
