Jennifer Lynn Maguire and Paul Francis Coughlin were married Friday, June 19, at St. Rosalie’s Church in Hampton Bays. Father Frank Pizzarelli of Hope House Ministries officiated the Catholic ceremony. A reception followed at Giorgio’s in Baiting Hollow. An after-party celebration was also held on the following day at an estate in Westhampton, with 140 guests attending.
The bride, a former resident of Hampton Bays and Southampton, is the daughter of Lynda Armstrong of Hampton Bays and Brian A. Maguire of Selden. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southampton College of Long Island University and currently works as a senior vice president at M. Silver Associates in Manhattan, a public relations agency specializing in travel and tourism.
Mr. Coughlin is the son of the late John A. Coughlin and former Riverhead resident Marion Stark Coughlin of Pleasantville, He graduated from the State University of New York College at Oneonta with a Bachelor of Science in business economics. He is currently a managing director of Roanoke Capital, a hedge fund in Manhattan.
After living in the same neighborhood in Manhattan and both working in Rockefeller Center for some time, when the two finally met in Manhattan they couple indulged in a lot of globe-trotting and many visits to the East End. According to the couple, it’s been a whirlwind romance that has taken them from the bottom of the spectacular Iguazu Falls in Brazil to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
The couple visited Mayakoba, Mexico, after the wedding, but an official honeymoon will be taken later this year in Peru.
