DeliciousSouthampton Town Police issued a reminder to residents on Friday that the Mighty Hamptons Triathlon will kick off in Sag Harbor this weekend—creating issues for motorists in several communities.
On Sunday, athletes will be biking and running along numerous roads in Bridgehampton, Water Mill and North Haven between 6 and 11 a.m. The event will start at Long Beach in Sag Harbor.
Southampton Town Police said that a large number of people will be attending the event and that traffic delays are expected. They are urging drivers to use caution or to avoid the area if possible.
