Erin Geismar

Erin Geismar, a 2009 graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, has joined The East Hampton Press as a reporter, where she will cover East Hampton Village government, the East Hampton School District, police and other general news and feature assignments.

While at Ithaca, Ms. Geismar was editor-in-chief of The Ithacan, the college’s award-winning weekly newspaper. In 2007 she won the New York Press Association’s Best News Story award for an article that explored a local homeless community.

Ms. Geismar graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School in 2005.
