The BBC band’s “Time of the Season Concert, Beatles Tribute and ’60s Music Experience” will be presented at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 17, at 8 p.m., courtesy of Allen Willinsky of Quogue and Manhattan.

After Mr. Willinsky first heard The BBC, a group of talented New York musicians dedicated to capturing the original sound of The Beatles and British Invasion and ’60s music, he said this week he knew he had to bring this band to the PAC.

A common bond shared by all the band members, Mr. Willinsky said this week, is that they have spent their lives as keen musical enthusiasts meticulously studying these recordings, allowing them to provide the most accurate musical presentation possible.

They don’t try to create an illusion by mimicking or acting like any particular band of the ’60s, Mr. Willinsky said. Instead, their focus is on the music. The band members painstakingly break down every musical nuance to faithfully reproduce the original sound.

The band features John Connelly, Russ Thomas, Gary Astridge, and Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductees Frank Grizanti and Ned Wood.

Tickets are $45 to $75, available by calling the Arts Center box office at 288-1500.
