North Sea
A Southampton woman reported to Southampton Town Police that someone broke into her son’s Bay Avenue home and stole a television worth $900, a PlayStation 3 gaming console, and a laptop computer. No arrests have been made.
Flanders
Richard Gundersen, 43, of Flanders was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Long Neck Boulevard at 11:04 a.m. last Thursday, October 15, for violating his probation. Police said Mr. Gundersen, who is also known as Michael Meyers, had violated his probation in New Jersey. No additional information was available.
Tremaine Gonzales, 29, of Shirley was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Flanders Road at 12:04 a.m. on Saturday and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Police said Mr. Gonzales threw a rock through the window of the home of a male acquaintance.
Kevin W. Smith, 34, of Flanders was arrested by New York State Police on Saturday and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a violation. No additional information was available.
Southampton
Christine Lysogorski, 61, of Southampton was arrested by Southampton Town Police on County Road 39 at 9:58 p.m. on Friday and charged with driving while her ability was impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Police said Ms. Lysogorski was originally stopped for failing to maintain her lane and was found with various pills in her possession.
Two co-workers attacked each other on Old Point Road at 9:10 a.m. on October 14. Police said one man hit the other with a shovel and struck him in the leg and arm. The other man then retaliated by spraying pepper spray into the other man’s eyes. Neither man pressed charges. Police did not say where the men were employed.
Remsenburg
Robert Dalder, 57, of Speonk was arrested on Mallard Lane at 5:05 a.m. last Thursday, October 15, and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. Police said Mr. Dalder violated an order of protection secured by a female acquaintance.
Hampton Bays
Gary Fifield, 53, of Middle Island was stopped by Southampton Town Police on Ponquogue Avenue on October 1 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Mr. Fifield was originally stopped for speeding.
A Canoe Place Road woman reported to Southampton Town Police that someone broke the driver’s side window of her 2000 Nissan while it was parked outside her home. No arrests have been made.
Riverside
Tijuana Kennedy, 26, of Flanders was stopped by Southampton Town Police on Peconic Avenue at 6:17 p.m. on October 9 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Ms. Kennedy was originally stopped for using a cell phone without a hands-free device.
East Quogue
Rosemarie Williams, 39, of Manorville was stopped by Southampton Town Police on Montauk Highway at 5 p.m. on September 16 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Ms. Williams was originally stopped for having a broken taillight.
Yasser Elroumy, 39, of East Quogue was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Landing Lane at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and charged with fourth-degree stalking, a misdemeanor, and second degree harassment, a violation. Police said Mr. Elroumy was arrested during a domestic violence incident.
An East Quogue man reported to Southampton Town Police that someone stole a boat motor from his yard sometime between 6 p.m. last Thursday, October 15, and 6 a.m. on Friday. No arrests have been made.
