Heather Duits, 33, of Westhampton Beach was stopped by Quogue Village Police on Old Main Road at 5:39 p.m. last Thursday, October 29, and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Ms. Duits was originally stopped for using a cell phone without a hands-free device.
Octavio Xajap, 29, of Flanders was arrested by Quogue Village Police at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday and charged with third-degree criminal trespass and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. At the same time, police also arrested Pixtun Banner, 24, of Riverhead and Julia Cholita Esteban-Francisca, 33, of Queens and charged them with third-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. Police said the trio was arrested for trespassing at the Quogue Village Police impound lot on Old Main Road.
