Sag Harbor Village
Sag Harbor Village Police arrested Regina L. Modelle, 29, of Ronkonkoma and Gary J. Collins, 42, of Patchogue on November 3 and charged them with grand larceny in the third degree and burglary in the third degree, both felonies, in relation to the theft of copper wiring valued at $5,250 from Sag Harbor Industries on Bay Street. The theft occurred on or about October 23, according to police reports. Mr. Collins, who was charged with three counts of larceny and burglary and one count of felony criminal possession of stolen property, was held at police headquarters and later arraigned. Ms. Modelle, who was charged with one count each of larceny and burglary, was arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail for lack of $700 cash bail. No further information was available.
Christian B. Cooney, 21, of Sag Harbor was arrested by Village Police just after midnight on November 3 and charged with assault in the second degree, a felony, after he punched another man during the course of a fight. No other details about the case were available.
Sag Harbor Police stopped John W. Hollyer, 43, of Sag Harbor for speeding in a school zone on Hampton Street on November 9, according the police reports, and charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
