With a maximum of around 800 words a week allowed for “Up Seatuck Creek” at this time of year, I never seem to have enough room to include everything that’s going on. Therefore, I’ll have to just get right to the point and start listing. But before I do that, I would like to wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. Eight hundred words would not be nearly enough to list all the blessings that I have in my life.

Next time you go to King Kullen in Eastport, keep an eye out for the boys in Cub Scout Pack 221 who are holding a food drive for the needy. Grab a slip of paper from a Scout that lists the food items that are being collected, pick up one or two items while shopping, and drop them off on your way out of the store. Every little bit does help and is greatly appreciated.
