Westhampton Beach Village
Cosmo Narracci, 41, of Hampton Bays was stopped by Westhampton Beach Village Police on Montauk Highway at 3:35 p.m. on November 24 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Mr. Narracci, who was originally stopped for not wearing a seat belt, was driving with a revoked license.
Melissa Friedel, 24, of Flanders was arrested by the Westhampton Beach Village Police at 1:15 p.m. on November 25 and charged with third-degree forgery, attempted petit larceny, third-degree identity theft, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree criminal impersonation, all misdemeanors. Police said Ms. Friedel stole a purse belonging to a Westhampton Beach woman at the Wal-Mart in Riverhead on October 9. On the same day, she attempted to withdraw $400 from the Astoria Federal Savings bank in Westhampton Beach using the victim’s debit card and driver’s license, police said. Ms. Friedel was arraigned on November 25 in Westhampton Beach Village Justice Court and released on her own recognizance.
Westhampton Beach Village Police received a report of criminal mischief at 12:53 p.m. last Thursday, November 26, when someone informed them that unknown people knocked over a 600-pound bronze horse statue, worth $10,000, at Galerie Des Hamptons on Montauk Highway. The amount of the damage was unknown.
A 45-year-old Hampton Bays man was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on Mill Road at 1:56 a.m. on Sunday, November 29, and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. A woman reported that the man was cursing and screaming at her, and attempted to kick her dog. Police said the man was intoxicated and irate when they arrived, adding that he refused to stop cursing at them.
Jacqueline Marco, 41, of Port Jefferson Station was stopped by Westhampton Beach Village Police on Old Riverhead Road at 3:44 a.m. on Sunday, November 29, and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Ms. Marco was driving with a suspended license.
