Due to inclement weather, Westhampton Beach’s annual holiday Christmas Tree and Hanukkah Menorah Lighting have been rescheduled for Saturday, December 12, starting at 6:30 p.m., on the Village Green on the corner of Mill Road and Main Street in Westhampton Beach.
In addition to the lighting ceremonies, the festivities will include the singing of holiday carols by several groups, complimentary hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus. The event is cosponsored by Westhampton Beach Village, the Hamptons Interfaith Council, the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce and the Westhampton Beach Fire Department. For more information, e-mail info@whbcc.org or call 288-3337.
Additionally, East Quogue’s seventh annual Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled for this past Saturday was also cancelled due to the weather. It was unclear on Sunday if the event, originally set for 5 p.m. on the East Quogue Village Green, has been rescheduled. That ceremony is sponsored by the East Quogue Beautification Committee.
