Dr. John Scranton has joined the staff of the East Hampton Urgent Care Center. Board certified in emergency medicine and family medicine, Dr. Scranton received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed a three-year residency program. Prior to joining the East Hampton Urgent Care Center, Dr. Scranton practiced emergency medicine at Southampton Hospital, and Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport.

A fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, Dr. Scranton and his wife Sally have been longtime residents of Water Mill, where they raise puppies for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind in Smithtown.

The East Hampton Urgent Care Center is located at 470 Montauk Highway in East Hampton.
