Richard and Joanne Malone of Water Mill announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Jo Malone to William A. Babinski Jr., son of Cecilia Babinski of Amagansett and William A. Babinski of Wainscott.

Ms. Malone is a 2000 graduate of Southampton High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Connecticut. She received a master’s degree in social work from Adelphi University and is currently the school social worker at the Child Development Center of the Hamptons in Wainscott. Mr. Babinski is a 1997 graduate of East Hampton High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Delaware. He runs his family’s farm on Beach Lane in Wainscott.

A November 2010 wedding is planned.
