Dorothy Frankel's sculpture "Love" has been accepted into the permanent collection of Guild Hall Museum and will be on exhibit in the museum’s sculpture garden. “Love” is made of 4 Bronze hands, each depicting one of the word’s letters in sign language, because “in silence this sculpture depicts love, the emotions that unite us, exalt us and shows our commonality,” says the artist. Ms. Frankel created the sculpture as a part of her series called “Visual Poetry”, an ongoing body of work she created in 1997 that draws from American Sign Language, yoga, and universal forms. “Love” has been exhibited in New York City Public Art as well as many other public art sites, including the Coronado Public Library where it was installed in 2014.

Ms. Frankel began creating the series in 1997 as an ongoing body of work that draws from American Sign Language, yoga, and universal forms. Connection, L.O.V.E., I Love You, Inner Peace, Best Friends and Mudra Fountain are central pieces of the collection.
