NOTE: This program has been canceled as of February 27, 2023.

On Friday, March 3, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the Parrish Art Museum hosts a talk and Q&A with author Emil K. Everett on his upcoming book “Leading with Trust: The 12 Elements for Achieving Peak Performance.”

Everett will discuss the definition of trust and how it drives performance, and offer insights into how to establish, build and repair trust. Open to the public, the program will appeal to leaders and business professionals interested in enhancing a collaborative culture in the work environment. The event includes a Q&A, an interactive discussion where participants may share their own experience and time for networking.

Everett is founder and president of New Amsterdam, a training and coaching firm empowering individuals and organizations to achieve more with leadership, communication, negotiation, and selling skills. He has 20 years of experience as a program facilitator and coach for profit and not-for-profit institutions, engaging professionals from over 100 industries across North America and Europe on numerous topics. A certified online trainer since 2009, he leads workshops in person and live online. A Parrish Art Museum Business Council Member, Everett has co-facilitated two previous Think Tank events: “Navigating Business Challenges and Opportunities in 2023” and “Applying Lessons Learned As We Move Forward.”

The event is planned and sponsored by the Parrish Business Council, a volunteer committee of East End professionals who provide programming and networking opportunities for Parrish Business Members.

Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are $16 ($5 members, $10 seniors, and member’s guests, free for Parrish Business members, students, children). Parrish Art Museum is at 279 Montauk Highway in Water Mill. Visit parrishart.org for details.
