Calling all makers, creatives, artists and writers! Bring your supplies and join The Church on Wednesday, November 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. for a casual, no-pressure evening of artmaking. A reimagined version of the Late Night Open Studio, Artists & Makers Night invites creatives of all kinds to gather and create alongside current artists-in-residence Hollis Chitto and Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack.
Guests are encouraged to visit the artists’ studios, view their work, and chat about process. Passionate about fostering creativity and connection, The Church offers this event as a chance for artists to step out of their solitary studios and make art in community.
Attendees must bring their own supplies, including easels. The Church will provide studio space, tables, and chairs in an atmosphere of conviviality. Space is limited, and the program will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserving a ticket through the website guarantees a spot. Artists are responsible for their own cleanup, which begins 30 minutes before the event concludes. The use of the monotype press will not be permitted.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and free for members, with RSVP required. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged. For tickets and more information, visit thechurchsagharbor.org. The Church is at 48 Madison Street in Sag Harbor.
