Bay Street Adds New Board Members

Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor has announced four new members to the Board of Trustees. Erik Batt, Joy Behar, Mariann Florio and Jane Holden have joined the Bay Street board, according to a press release issued on Tuesday, August 23.

Mr. Batt is a public relations professional, most recently in the position as the director of publicity for the Independent Film Channel. Career highlights include television campaigns for HBO’s “Sex in the City,” “The Laramie Project” and “Angels in America,” and IFC’s documentary, “Monty Python: Almost the Truth.”

Ms. Behar, an Emmy Award winner, is the host of “The Joy Behar Show” on HLN, as well as one of the hosts for ABC’s “The View.”

Ms. Florio is a past president of the Junior League of Long Island and has also been active in Habitat for Humanity and One in Nine.

For five years, she co-chaired the Fresh Air Fund Gala with Tommy Hilfiger and her husband, the late Steven T. Florio, past president and chief executive officer of Conde Nast Publications.

Ms. Holden is a senior director at Brown Harris Stevens and was the 2010 Broker of the Year for the Sag Harbor Office. She is a lifelong resident of Sag Harbor and an active community member, most recently serving as this year’s chairperson of the Bay Street Patron’s Committee.
